Visit the 180-acre public botanic garden of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey with the Women+in Technology group.
Join a 1 hour guided tour and see the Rhododendron Garden, Rain and Pollinator Gardens, Evergreen Garden, and the Otken Garden where you can take photos in the giant red Adirondack chairs. October is a migratory peak time for many birds, so it could be a good time for birding. There should also be some late blooming perennials like goldenrod, asters, and pink turtlehead, to name a few.
